I live for this stuff

This weekend Boston is hosting the Women's Olympic Trials Marathon on a tight 4 loop course deemed for some serious spectating of top notch women gutting it out for those coveted 1,2,3 spots to the Olympics. There are roughly 160 women declared.
To qualify one must have an A standard of 2:39 or better
or a B standard of 2:39:01-2:45:00 to race.

OH - SO SO SO EXCITING! I can't wait to watch... VS is airing the Boston Marathon on Monday mid-morning. But I don't think the trials are in conjunction with them. I'll have to look it up. Thanks for the reminder! Should be a GREAT race.

Oh I am with you... every time BIG run race comes around I tell my husband I want to become a runner and not a triathlete...! Hmmm, just one sport- nice! AND most the top women are in their late 30's to 40's! SO POSSIBLE... then I see you need a 2:45 at the least, and I think ONLY15 MIN. AWAY... I can do it! You got me all fired up...I better get off your blog... have fun cheering and shouting!

Going? I am thinking of heading down, doing a little jog on the course, and checking it out.
