It's 61 degrees currently here in Massachusetts. In December???? Very bizarre indeed. So the scheduled long run turned into a outside ride instead. Unfortunately, my body didn't know what to do on a bike not supported by a Computrainer. Fun nonetheless and more so the novelty of getting outside in December when normally it would be 19 was very cool.

So while my feline slept in a computer briefcase....

I pulled on my gear

and off I went. The roads were wet but the air temps, amazing. What a treat!

Here I am on a pee stop. Can I just tell you how pleasant it is to drop trow and bare your a$$ in 60 degrees instead of 19?

And lastly,
A few images on the ride (WARNING! PICTURES MAY BE TOO GRAPHIC IN CONTENT FOR VIEWING)

This.. this is never good....

and sadly yet another casualty

Oh am i jealous! We have had some warmer temps ( well not today, it was 6 when i ran) but there is so much ice everywhere that if you didnt have studs on your tires, you were ..well.. on the ground with the melted snow men.

what a treat to ride outside! it has finally warmed up here, but the warm weather means tornado like winds....
any run tests yet with the beautiful weather you've been having? ;)

Haha. That snowman is so sad!

I did the same thing, except with a run. I pulled out my shortest shorts to enjoy the unexpected warmth just because I'm too lazy to unhook the bike from the trainer.

I LOVE Orca kitty! Tabbitha once slept in our lap top case - but that was 5 years ago when she was still a wee (little) thing. Looks like it was a great ride! Hey - I would take baring my rear in 60 degrees over 19 any day. :)

I'm surprised I didn't see you! I got out for a ride too - just over 3 hours and we went from here to Harvard and back... So nice to be outside.

So, when you gonna get some boots to go with your x-country gear???? ;-)
