Just me, my Garmin and the sun

After yesterdays big fat zero in the log book, I was happy to get out in the 50 degree temps for a solid 4 hours in the saddle with fresh legs and bright sunshine.
What a treat!

I tried the self cleaning thing...and all I got was a bunch of ashes...HA I kid you not...I think it was because it was soooooo dirty....do I need to spray something in there first????

Glad your legs are feeling better, and YUM... I'm going to have to be careful when I look at your blog! Or you're going to have to start mailing me frozen entrees from your homemade selection! :)

Elaine:
I am so glad that you got your ride in yesterday! Keep the food pcitures coming. Your stuffed shells inspired me to make lasagne yesterday.
Mel:
My oven is full of ashes, too. I think that's what happens when you only self-clean every 3 years. (I am tempted to "borrow" the shop-vac from the basement to vacuum them out. My Dyson is too nice to use on ordinary household dirt!)

Hey there Trigirlpinkbadass-
I am not even going to TALK ABOUT my oven...we have an Elmira one! You know, some overpriced thing that the previous owners put in here...looks Victorian from the outside (why am I talking about STOVES?). ANYWAY, great job getting outside this weekend. Woo hoo! And, that Jen friend of yours who commented on me RE: Eagleman - give her a big smooch from me. That was SO nice of her, really. That is my fav race of all time. xoxo Jen H.

That weather looks inviting - we have not had clear sun shine almost the entire month as the vog is taking over the skies right now...
glad you were able to get outside though and enjoy a ride :)

nah, G2 didn't take his bike with him...he's doing a bit of a 'run focus', or so he says. good news is that it looks like he may be home this weekend.
